Music. That's a lot of what this dude talks about. And jokes. He tells jokes also. He's a born entertainer. That's what his family says, at least.

Born into the best era of music ever (an 80's kid through and through), Derek the DJ keeps up with new music as well as the timeless classics 

everyone loves to dance to. Since his first gig in 2002 at his alumni CMU (fire up. chips) where he used a discman with 40 second shock 

protection and  a 5 disc carousel CD player that he had to sit on so the party people could jump around without the music skipping, 

he's honed his craft and hasn't missed a beat in order to keep the party lively, happy, and enjoyable.

Derek the DJ is very proud and unapologetic about his all-ages style of DJing. You will never have to ask if the music he plays can
